Booking Conditions – Please read carefully
Two instalments of payment are required.
1st Instalment:
First instalment, being 50% of accommodation total, is required to be received by our booking service, within 7 days of making the booking. Should first instalment not be received by the due date, your booking service will be automatically cancelled.
Please ensure you contact our booking service should you envisage a delay in sending first instalment monies, in which a time extension may be granted.
First instalment cheques to be made payable to Alpine Woodsmoke. Please complete Booking Form Part A in full and attach it to your first instalment cheque.
2nd Instalment:
Second instalment, being the 50% balance of your accommodation total, is required to be received by our booking service, 35 days before date of arrival.
Any change in details pertaining to information on Booking Form Part A, should also be sent attached to your cheque.
Cancellation:
Cancellation fees are applicable. If your cancellation is confirmed in writing to our booking service more than 35 days prior to your check-in date, 15% is retained as your cancellation fee and the balance returned to guest. For cancellations confirmed in writing to our booking service within 35 days of check-in date, 100% is retained as your cancellation fee unless apartment is re-booked.
Bond:
A bond of $500 is required per apartment booking at time of check-in. Cheque, cash or credit card imprint is accepted. Credit card imprints are mailed back to guests two weeks after departure date upon satisfactory clearance check completion.
Check-in time 3pm – Check-out time 10am
Check-in time no sooner than 3pm on your day of arrival. Check-out time is no later than 10am on the day of your departure. Please notify our booking service in advance should you anticipate a later arrival time. We also advise our guests to contact our booking service should they have members of their party arriving late.
Falls Creek:
Falls Creek is approximately 5 hours from Melbourne and 450klm. Good sealed roads run all the way to Falls Creek, in fact all the way to Alpine Woodsmoke’s undercover security car park.
ANTIFREEZE:
Don’t forget to add antifreeze to your car radiator before you leave home or buy some on the way. Diesel motors to use Alpine Diesel.
SNOW CHAINS:
Chains help give your car traction over snow and by law, must be carried during the winter months. Chains can be hired from the Mobil petrol station in Mount Beauty. Please contact Michele, our Booking Office, if you require further
information.
Car parking:
Upon entering the Falls Creek resort, car parking attendants may stop you to offer assistance. Please advise the car parking attendants that you are staying at Alpine Woodsmoke so they can direct you to our undercover security car park. Only one car
space per apartment is available in the undercover car park and car parks are clearly marked. All other cars must park outside in the overnight car parking provided on the main road. Please be aware that fines are subject should correct car parking procedures not be followed.
Ski access:
Alpine Woodsmoke is able to offer guests the convenience of ski in access via Wombat’s Ramble home trail and ski out access via a short sloping trail Bilia Bullet quad chairlift.
Come for the snow, but stay for the memories…
